Overview
Monuments are a ladder. Running them out of order is how people lose a kit they spent two days building.
The order
Each rung funds the next one.
- Green monuments — Satellite Dish, Harbor, Sewer Branch, Ferry Terminal, Radtown. One fuse, one green card, a blue card out.
- Water Treatment — the easiest red keycard: no scientists and no green card needed.
- Power Plant, Trainyard, Airfield — timed sequences with scientists.
- Oil Rigs, Launch Site, Missile Silo, Military Tunnels — geared, contested, and loud.
Carry spares
Keycards degrade with use and timers punish anyone who has to go back for a fuse. Carry a spare of each card tier you expect to use, and a spare fuse.
Clear before you start a timer
Every timed puzzle assumes the scientists are already dead. Flipping the timer switch first is the single most common reason a run fails.
