Overview
Water Treatment is one of the safest red keycards for a solo: no scientist garrison, so the only thing that can stop you is another player. The catch is distance — the timer that powers the blue door is at the opposite end of the plant, and it gives you 60 seconds.
Insert the fuse
Go to the building on the south-east side of the plant and up to the fuse box. The fuse powers two things: the blast-door button downstairs and the timer beside it.
Open the blast doors
Press the button beside the sliding blast doors, then turn the wheel — the button powers the wheel, and the wheel opens the doors. There are crates inside.
Flip the timer — 60 seconds
When you are ready to run, flip the timer switch beside the fuse box. It powers the blue card reader for 60 seconds, and the blue door is at the other end of the plant.
- The blue door is about 115 metres away. Clear the route before you flip the timer.
Run to the west side
Cross the plant past the clarifier tanks to the building on the west side, by the recycler and the garage doors, and take the stairs to the upper floor.
Swipe blue
Swipe your blue keycard at the upper-floor door before the 60 seconds run out.
Loot and take the red card
Crates and the red keycard, which has its own spawner in the room. Radiation ticks in here, so take it and move. The switch beside the door powers the exit button, and the recycler is next door.
Optional: the green room
The green-card door a few metres from the fuse box is wired straight to the monument’s generator, so it is always powered and needs no fuse. It is a separate green room — not a step towards the red card.
