Monument blockers on wipe day
Since September 2026, red rooms can be sealed at the start of a wipe until someone pays explosives to open them.

Overview
If you arrived at a red room on wipe day and found it blocked, nothing is broken. September 2026 added monument blockers, which gate the highest-tier rooms early in a wipe.
What they are
Physical blockers — stacked terminals, lockers, desks, barrels, barricades, vent cages and a blast door — on the high-tier rooms of Launch Site, Military Tunnels, the Missile Silo, both Oil Rigs and the Underwater Labs. Trainyard has none. Each one has 350 health and takes full damage from explosives, so a single C4 (550 damage) clears one. Once cleared, it is gone for the rest of the wipe.
What it changes
Day-one endgame access now has a price. Whoever pays it opens the room for everybody, so there is a real advantage in letting someone else spend the boom and arriving second.
They decay
An untouched blocker sits out a 24-hour grace period, then loses 1 health a minute — so it is gone about six hours after that, around 30 hours into the wipe. The gate is on the first day, not the whole week.
They do not protect your base
Blockers are a monument mechanic only. Nothing about them changes base raiding.
